DAY 1

Full Day Excursion ‘Secular Trees Wanted’ by Cooperativa Oros

Half-day excursion of simple difficulty, with a duration of about 4 hours. It is an easy path, suitable for children of all ages. The route has a length of 5.5km and a vertical drop of 210 meters.

• 10:00 am arrival and meeting point in Camaldoli. The activity will develop with a search for the ancient trees of the Park, a journey into the forests to discover the flora and fauna that live there. Traces of animals, songs of birds, signs of life in the forest.
• 1:00 pm Free lunch. We recommend Locanda Dei Baroni, Ristorante Camaldoli
• 3:30 pm guided tour of the Ornithological Museum
• Dinner at Agriturismo Lucatello
• Overnight Agriturismo Lucatello

DAY 2

‘Farm animals: let’s become friends’, guided tour of the educational farm of Bioagriturismo Lucatello

The route is suitable for everyone: from small children to adults. The route will be adapted to the type of group and the age of the participants. Aimed at everyone but especially aimed at families with children.

• 10:00 am meeting at the farmhouse. After a brief introduction by the guide, we begin to prepare food for the smaller animals: lapwings, hens and rabbits that are in the farm garden. Later we will see the larger animals: the cows and the bull Orlando, the goats, and Genzero, our horse.
• 1:00 pm full lunch from appetizers to desserts with organic products from our seasonal farm (we produce organic spelled and derivatives such as pasta, flour, beer, goat cheeses, beef, pork and goat meats, jams
• Free afternoon

DAY 3

Half day activity ‘Put a donkey in your life’, by Gli Amici dell’Asino

• 10:00 am Meeting at “Gli Amici dell’Asino” , children can take part in excursions or small walks on the farm, in search of traces of the presence of wild animals, in small treks to the castles of the valley: adventure, respect for animals and desire to stay in the open air our watchwords
• 1:00 pm arrival in Stia by own means and free lunch, Recommended Restaurants: Ospitale dei Brilli, Da Filetto, Falterona Restaurant, Caranbar, Canto alla Rana, Da Loris Restaurant. We are available to book the restaurant of your choice.

Additional day A:

• 11:00 am Meeting at ASD Equinatura. Visit of the center
• 1:00 pm Packed lunch. We recommend a packed lunch in the structure or at Giubbino (Pratovecchio)
• 3:00 pm Explanatory tour on the research that the Park is doing on the wolf and its ethology. Beginning of the walk on the trail of the wolf and induced howling activity (wolf howling).
• 8:00 pm Free Dinner, we recommend: L’Oasi di Samira, I 4 Cantoni Restaurants, Osteria Toscana Twist, La Tana degli Orsi.
• Overnight at Residenza La Capannina

Additional day B:

The activity lasts about three hours. Two different routes are proposed, feasible for children aged 3 to 6 years. The price includes the rental of equipment (carabiners, pulley, harness and helmet), initial lesson with our instructors and assistance in case of need from our staff.

• 10:00 am entrance to the Adrenalina Adventure Park for 3 hours. You will have the opportunity to experience the aided routes.
• 1:00 pm Free Lunch. We recommend Falterona Restaurant, Ospitale dei Brilli, Da Filetto, ‘Canto alla Rana’ picnic area, equipped with a furnace.
• 20:00 Dinner we recommend Canto alla Rana, Filetto Restaurant, Falterona Restaurant, Ospitale dei Brilli, Da Loris Restaurant.
• Overnight at the Residenza La Capannina

Additional day C:

• 10:30 am The garden of fireflies awaits you to discover how you can cultivate in accordance with the rhythms of nature, helping bees, considering wild herbs a resource, taking care of the fertility of the soil. From permaculture to biodynamics, from organic to synergistic, an overview of what you can do and eat: visit to the garden, observation and sharing of simple practical activities.
• 1:00 pm Lunch We recommend Atlantic Oil, Ai Vecchi Telai
• 4:30 am departure from Prati della Burraia (loc. Fangacci). Follow the beautiful path of the ridge surrounded by beech trees that will take us to the Prati della Burraia, from which you can admire a suggestive stretch and then return with the last lights of the day. It is advisable to bring a torch for the return
