We will go into the forest in search of chestnuts and relive the slow rituals of the past. We will have breakfast (packed lunch provided by the participants) in the forest, among the thousands of autumn colors of the chestnut leaves, in front of a lit fire, and we will learn to recognize chestnuts and the techniques for collecting the fruit of the “bread tree”.

The walk with THE DONKEYS in tow (which will be ridden in turn by the children) is suitable for everyone 🙂(takes about 30 minutes). At the end of the day, all the children will be given a “Donkey Driver’s License”.

N.B.: Participants can take home all the chestnuts they have collected (collection has no limit).

Contribution required: Adults € 24.00 each and children € 18.00 each, which includes, in addition to the membership fee:

1) Free chestnut harvesting (participants can take home all chestnuts collected) in our well-kept private chestnut grove;

2) Hire of donkeys for an excursion in a natural environment with a first ride in the saddle (the donkeys will also be available to the children in the chestnut grove for further rides);

3) Excursion with a qualified environmental guide (LR Toscana 42/2000) and transport of provisions from where you park your car to the chestnut grove;

4) Workshops and personalized participation certificates for the children;

5) Third party liability insurance.

Chestnuts freshly cooked on the grill and mulled wine offered by the Guide;

Appropriate clothing for the season is recommended: gloves for collecting chestnuts, boots or walking shoes, windproof and rainproof clothing, umbrellas, mackintoshes, sturdy long trousers.
