DAY 1 (Option A)

Full Day Bike tour “In the sacred forests of Camaldoli”, by Casentino Ebike

Useful information: the route is about 25 km long and has a duration of about 6 hours.

• 10:00 am Arrival and return to the Monastery of Camaldoli, if I continue towards the Hermitage. Visit to the hermitage of Camaldoli. I will go to Prato alla Penna and I will go to Badia a Prataglia, I will visit the center of the park.
• 1:00 pm Return to Camaldoli, where it is possible to have lunch. We recommend “Tre Baroni”, “Tassini” or to the monastery guesthouse.
• 3:00 pm Guided tour of the Church and Monastery. Possibility to stop at the monastery pharmacy to buy herbs, herbal teas and much more.
• 8:00 pm Dinner time. We recommend Restaurant Il Capanno
• Accommodation at Agriturismo Nuova Era

DAY 1 (Option B)

Walking Tour Full Day ‘The Forest of Silence’, by Marta Signi

Useful information: the route lasts about 4 hours

• 10:30 am Arrival at the meeting point with the guide in Camaldoli, at the restaurant “I 3 Baroni”. Immersion in the suggestive and secular firs of silver fir that embrace one of the most fascinating places of the spirit. Sensory excursion to revitalize all the senses in a context of extraordinary suggestion. I arrive at the hermitage
• 1:00 pm Packed lunch provided by New Era
• 3:00 pm Meeting with the tour guide Valentina Lattari and visit to the Hermitage. Moving by own means, possibility to reach it on foot or by car.
• 8:00 pm Dinner time. We recommend Osteria dalla Franca di Corezzo to get to know and taste the typical ‘tortello alla lastra’

DAY 2

Full Day excursion “Eyes of the forest”, by ArteNa

seful information: The route is a loop of about 10 km. It has a 7km route and a difference in height of 250 meters, easy difficulty. Suitable for families and children

• 10:00 am Meeting at Monte Falco, loc. Fangacci. We will enter the Casentinese National Park, to discover the forms of life that inhabit these places. Brief introduction on the forms of life that you can meet inside the park.
• 10:30 am Start of the trek to discover the surrounding area
• 1.00 pm Packed lunch and relaxation stop provided by the Nova Era Agriturismo
• 3:00 pm Resumption of the route, up to the starting point
• 20:00 Dinner time. We recommend I Tre Baroni, Albergo Ristorante Camaldoli, Mater, Ristorante il Cedro

DAY 3

Half Day Excursion “Il Crudo Sasso intra Tevere and Arno”, by Altertrek and Francesca La Sala

• 10:00 am Meeting point (coordinates will be provided via email with the exact meeting place) with the guide, reachable by own means. The destination is Monte Sacro della Verna, mentioned by Dante in the Divine Comedy, a place of absolute spirituality, where St. Francis received the stigmata. A sensory excursion through the Monumental Forest until you reach the top of the mountain where the ancient Franciscan Sanctuary stands.
• 1:00 pm Packed lunch provided by Agriturismo Nuova Era
• 3:00 pm Guided tour of the Franciscan Sanctuary of Chiusi della Verna where there is the legend of a group of Roman soldiers who are moving. Visit to La Verna. Sanctuary – Monte Penna – Chiusi della Verna. With the guide from Chiusi you will pass through the Beccia with a guide on the Ancient Mulattiera and will enter from the real entrance of the sanctuary.
• 8:00 pm Dinner recommended at Il Sassone, Da Giovanna Restaurant, Osteria dalla Franca

DAY 4

Half Day Excursion Immersion in Vallesanta, by Casentino Ebike

• 10:00 am meeting in front of the Pro Loco of Corezzo. Departure for Vallesanta with destination to the Sanctuary of La Verna. You will have the opportunity to visit the sanctuary and immerse yourself in the spirit of the place. Return to the starting point.
• 1:00 pm Lunch. We recommend tasting the tortello alla lastra in Corezzo at Osteria dalla Franca or Giampereta (Il Sassone)
• Free time and return home

• 3:00 pm Guided tour on the research that the Park is doing on the wolf and its ethology. Start of the walk on the trail of the wolf and induced howling activity (wolf howling).

Additional day B:

• 9:30 am Arrival by own means at the meeting point, at the Nuova Era farmhouse, where the activity will take place. Together with a guide you will stimulate and awaken your senses by walking in the woods, among the majestic centuries-old chestnut trees and immersing yourself in the natural beauty of these places, listening to the delicate and harmonious sounds of the forest. Along the way you will practice Qi Gong exercises to regenerate and release tensions.
• 1:00 pm Return to the meeting point and lunch at the farmhouse.
• 3:00 pm Free time on the farm.
