B&B I Due Portali is located in the historical centre of Bibbiena, a medieval village immersed in the Casentino valley. Ancient villages, castles, historical buildings, Romanesque churches and sanctuaries – such as Santa Maria del Sasso, La Verna and the Camaldoli Monastery, surround it.
The whole municipal territory of Bibbiena is very interesting, offering not only suggestive landscapes, but also places and villages of high historical, artistic, environmental, religious and gastronomic interest.
The B&B I Due Portali is a portion of a 15th century building, and is the ideal place to stay for a romantic weekend, for a holiday, or even for a business trip. The characteristics of the B & B are the two stone portals from which it takes its name, the main hall and one of the four double bedrooms, where there is a beautiful stone fireplace worked in the ‘700, and a bed of the ‘800, made of iron. The property is located on the first floor, furnished with care and attention to detail. It consists of 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 large and 1 small bathroom with shower and sink), kitchenette with living room and large entrance hall.
As in all historical towns, access to the flat is by stairs, which are slightly sloping. Each room is complete with linen and towels. The B&B offers a common area with a large living room for breakfast, served by the management, according to the timetable indicated in the description of services.
It is possible to reserve one of the larger rooms, together with the kitchen, living room and bathroom, creating a mini flat within the B&B.
