A short and enjoyable itinerary that will take you to unique places on shady paths that are really pleasant for spending a day with family or friends.

The most challenging part is in the central part of the route known as ” Via dei Legni”. It is known as the “Via dei legni” (Wooden Way) because it was the route used to bring down the majestic silver fir trunks from the mountains to the port of Pratovecchio, from where they were transported to Florence, via the Arno River.
