Cetica Red Potato
Cultivated in Casentino since the beginning of the nineteenth century, the Cetica red potato is widespread in Pratomagno, at altitudes above 500 metres.
It has an irregular round shape and a red skin, the flesh is white with light red veins.
The Cetica potato is planted between March and April and harvested in August and September.
This product is very important in the preparation of traditional dishes, such as tortelli, gnocchi (“topini”) and stews.
Recognized as a D.O.P. Protected Designation of Origin product.
